I say that because I have done all else & everything seems fine but I honestly am not Completely confident of the boot disk it is a copy I made from an. No only 1 drive.Assuming I have correctly implemented all the other methods you all have provided could it actually be my boot disk. When the machine wants to boot you should get a message asking you to strike a key to boot from the CD. Go to setup by pressing F2, set the boot priority to boot from CD ROM drive first, and exit saving changes. You should be able to do this by one of two methods. When you enable it, though, the only thing you are allowed to do is boot from the installation CD. The mode was intended for operating systems that have difficulty managing large amounts of RAM, such as Windows 98 (ancient history). I don't believe you even need to enable Install Mode in setup before installing Windows XP.
